The king of jasmine teas. Jasmine Pearls is made with young green tea, using the first two leaves and a bud. It is processed in a traditional green tea fashion and hand-rolled into small pearls during the shaping process. Once finished they are set aside until May, when the jasmine harvest begins, and then are heat infused with the blossoms. Jasmine can vary in flavor, from powdery floral to tropical fruit. The jasmine used to scent this tea veers slightly toward the tropical fruit side and pairs perfectly with the medium-bodied green tea used at its base. Origin: Fujian Province, China Brewing Suggestions: We recommend using spring or filtered water. Heat to 175F. Use 2.5gof tea for 12 oz of water. Steep for 4 minutes.
